What is STARRS?

STARRS (St. Augustine Research & Reference Services) is located at the northern end of The Alma Jordan Library, on the ground floor. It is equipped with 38 computers, 1 black & white printer and 1 colour printer. Users at STARRS can:
- Access the computers for a maximum of 30 minutes
- Conduct research
- Access internet resources
- Explore The Alma Jordan Library's Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)
- Use basic computer word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation graphics software
- Access training on database use, catalogue use, citing sources and more
- Explore UWIlinC, the library's e-information portal
STARRS can be accessed all night and on Sundays along with the Reading Room when The Alma Jordan Library offers its 24/7 service.
